See how it works
01 What is the difference between a Buckle Scrunchie and a Buckle Hair Tie?

The Buckle Scrunchie is a fabric scrunchie and the Buckle Hair Tie is a thin elastic. Both have the same click open buckle, wrap 2 to 4 times, and unwrap at takedown so nothing gets ripped out.

02 Which is better for sports, a scrunchie or a thin hair tie?

Either one holds through practice. Lots of athletes wear the thin hair tie for a sleek ponytail and the scrunchie for volume or after the game. Both click open, so sweaty hair comes down without snagging.

03 Which one works better on thick or curly hair?

Both work on thick and curly hair. Use more wraps for a tighter hold and hold both ends as it unwraps so your curls don't tangle.

Why it works for first timers torn between the two

Most hair ties get dragged out at the end of the day and take strands with them. The Buckle Scrunchie and the Buckle Hair Tie both click open and unwrap, so you get a secure ponytail and an easy takedown whichever one you grab.

Features

  • Click open buckle on both, so each one unwraps instead of getting pulled out
  • Fabric scrunchies and thin hair ties, one for volume and one for a sleek look
  • Extra stretchy and wraps 2 to 4 times, so you set how tight it feels
  • 100 year warranty on the buckle, so both last well past the trial run

How to use Buckle Scrunchies

1. Tying up your hair

  • Start with the buckle closed
  • Hold the buckle so you know where it is
  • Wrap 2 to 4 times around your hair like a normal hair tie
  • Buckle wraps around last, so it can be the first thing to come off!

2. Taking down your hair

  • Locate the buckle (should be around the outside loop)
  • Press the sides of the buckle with the fleshy part of your fingers to click it open
  • Hold both ends of the buckle if you have thicker or curlier hair so it doesn't get lost or tangled
  • Let it unwrap and twirl out of your hair. Remember, there's no need to pull anymore!
